Yes. In NEET and NCERT, 'chemical coordination' and 'hormonal coordination' mean the same thing. Both refer to the endocrine system, which uses hormones as chemical messengers. NCERT says the endocrine system provides 'chemical integration through hormones', so the two names point to one system.
Neurons do use a chemical (neurotransmitter) at the synapse, but only across a tiny gap between two cells, and it acts for a very short time. The main pathway is still an electrical impulse travelling along a wired neuron. In hormonal coordination the chemical (hormone) itself travels a long way through the blood. So NEET classifies nerve signalling as 'neural' because the message is carried mostly by point-to-point neurons, not by a chemical moving through blood.
Neural coordination uses a direct, point-to-point wired network of neurons, so the impulse reaches the exact target organ almost instantly. Hormonal coordination sends hormones into the blood, and the blood must circulate before the hormone reaches organs. Blood flow is much slower than a nerve impulse, so hormonal responses take longer to start.
Hormonal (chemical) coordination lasts longer because the hormone stays in the blood and keeps acting until it is broken down. Neural coordination is short-lived because the impulse ends quickly. This is why fast reflexes (like pulling your hand off a hot pan) are neural, while slow, long processes (like growth or metabolism) are hormonal.
