Why is the Re-Examination Being Held?
The original NEET UG 2026 exam held on May 3, 2026 was cancelled on May 12, 2026 following allegations of a question paper leak. A CBI probe was ordered into the matter. NTA took the re-examination decision with the approval of the Government of India, and announced the schedule through its Public Notice dated May 15, 2026.
