Why Physics felt the hardest — the setter's pattern

We mapped all 180 ReNEET 2026 questions to our question bank and found a clear signal: of 45 Physics questions, 0 were word-for-word repeats — every one tested a familiar NCERT concept but in a reframed way. Chemistry had only 25 exact repeats; Biology had the most (21). In other words, Physics wasn't harder in content — it was harder in framing.

The Physics setter favoured: two-configuration “find the ratio” items, proportionality instead of plug-in numbers, variable-force questions needing integration, multi-step chained problems, conceptual graph-shape questions, and lab/measurement items — with traps placed for the fast and careless. That is why strong students still found it tough.
