The NEET 2026 result is out (declared 16 July 2026), so counselling is the next step — how a qualified NEET score becomes an actual MBBS/BDS seat. It runs at two levels — the 15% All-India Quota conducted by the MCC (mcc.nic.in), and the 85% state quota run by each state. The process is: register → pay fee → fill & lock choices → seat allotment → report with documents, across several rounds. The NEET counselling process, step by step

Run by each state's own authority on its own portal & schedule. Covers 85% of government seats plus private/management seats in that state. Domicile rules apply.

NEET counselling fees & security deposit

How much does NEET counselling cost?
