Sperm are made in the seminiferous tubules, so those come first, then the four accessory ducts, then the urethra opens sperm to the outside.
What is the difference between vasa efferentia and vas deferens?
They are different ducts and easy to mix up. Vasa efferentia are small tubes that carry sperm from the rete testis into the epididymis. Vas deferens is a single larger duct that comes after the epididymis, ascends into the abdomen, and loops over the urinary bladder. So the order is vasa efferentia first, epididymis next, then vas deferens.
Does the epididymis come before or after the vas deferens?
The epididymis comes before the vas deferens. NCERT says the vasa efferentia open into the epididymis, and the epididymis leads to the vas deferens. A wrong option in NEET puts vas deferens before epididymis, which is incorrect.
Is the rete testis a duct or a part of the testis?
